• Keno Tactics That Make Money

It may not ordinarily be looked at as the best game in the world of betting, but keno has millions and millions of passionate admirers. And why not? It’s a consistently entertaining lottery-style game that’s easy to master, abundantly available in several assorted styles, and one that can return mega-dollars for those who master its many subtle nuances. But let’s begin with the basics here.

When explaining keno to novices, some wagering masters compare it to bingo. This is at least to some extent correct, in that each game is essentially numerical. But to carry that comparison too far is likely to be to devalue the endless unique characteristics that make keno so exciting. Not like bingo, keno users have the ability to select the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the user is given an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to choose as many (or as few) numbers as he or she thinks is appropriate. And it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your handpicked numbers with a every day old#2 pencil like you had when you were in third grade.

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, take your keno card back to the keno pit manager at the keno booth. The clerk will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Don’t lose this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your face and wants help out, without a winning receipt with you, you will get precisely $.00 for your efforts.

So, there you have strategy #1: always take care to keep your keno ticket. Let’s move on to something a little bit more complicated, shall we?

Once you’ve picked out your numbers, get into a comfy keno booth and observe the action unfold on the screen. That’s where the winning numbers are displayed for all to see. If you marked winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Be sure not to dally, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You are required to get back to the keno stand to get your winnings, as a new drawing will certainly begin within five minutes.

Strategy number two: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Since you can’t trust yourself to meet that five-minute deadline each and every time, you always have the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty tickets. When the maximum number of keno games (the same as the number of tickets) is completed, you should then get off your numb butt and go redeem your winnings.

Still another opportunity is recognized as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which usually lets you make number selection for thirty rounds or more. Hell, you can take vacation to Greece and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to get your winnings. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!

And now you are aware of a handful of necessary techniques for winning keno. If you are an adept gambler, they might appear to be stupidly obvious. But it will not hurt to study up on the basic tactics, and if you are a beginner keno player, every tiny bit of direction will help make your keno games more fun.
