• Keno Schemes That Win

It will not usually be seen as the funnest game in the arena of gambling, but keno has loads of passionate enthusiasts. Why wouldn’t it? It’s a constantly entertaining lotto-style game that’s uncomplicated to learn, readily available in tons of different variations, and one that can pay out mega-dollars for those who learn its many subtle nuances. But let’s start with the basic facts here.

When explaining keno to amateurs, some gambling masters compare it to lotto. This is at least partially correct, in that each game is essentially numerical. However, to carry that comparison too far would be to underrate the many unique traits that make keno so exciting. Unlike bingo, keno players have the ability to select the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the gambler is furnished with an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to pick as many (or as few) numbers as he wants. And it doesn’t take a genius to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your desired numbers with a good oldmarker like you used when you were in third grade.

Now that you have picked your numbers, take the keno card back to the person at the keno stand. The clerk will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t misplace this (potentially) valuable piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your pretty face and wants help out, without a winning slip in hand, you will get precisely $.00 for your actions.

Ok, there you have strategy #1: always make sure to keep your keno receipt. Let’s move on to something a little more complicated, yes?

Now that you’ve picked your numbers, get yourself into a comfy keno booth and watch the action unfold on the video monitor. That’s where the winning numbers show up for all to see. If you’ve got winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to dally, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You need to get up to the keno booth to redeem your winnings, as a new keno game will almost certainly start within 5 minutes.

Strategy #2: always go back to the keno stand on time!

Since you can’t trust yourself to make that five-minute margin every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the very same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty cards. When the maximum amount of keno games (the same as the number of tickets) is finished, you can then get off your numb butt and go retrieve your winnings.

Another alternative is referred to as a "stray and play" keno slip, which usually allows you make number selection for thirty keno rounds or more. Gosh, you can take vacation to Greece and not have to fret about getting back in time to get your winnings. Most "stray and play" game tickets are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

So now you know a couple of necessary schemes for winning keno. If you are an experienced player, they may seem stupidly obvious. Still, it will not hurt to bone up on the basics, and if you are a novice keno player, every tiny bit of advice will help make your keno playing time more captivating.
