It won’t usually be looked at as the best game in the universe of wagering, but keno has loads of fanatical followers. As well it should! It’s a routinely thrilling lotto-like game that’s simple to learn, readily available in many alternate variations, and one that might return millions for gamblers who learn its endless subtle rules. But let’s begin with the basic rules here.

When explaining keno to newbies, some wagering masters compare it to bingo. This is at least in some ways apt, in that each game is essentially numerical. Do not misplace this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers you and wants help out, without a winning slip on you, you will win exactly $.00 for your winning card.

Now there you have strategy number one: always take care to keep your keno ticket. Let’s go on to something a bit more complex, yes?

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, get yourself into a comfy keno booth and see the action take place on a video monitor. This is where the winning numbers are displayed for us. If you’ve got winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Sake care not to take too much time, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get up to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, as a new keno game will probably start within 5 minutes.

Strategy number two: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to make that five-minute margin each time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the maximum number of keno games (fitting the number of tickets) is played out, you will then be able to get off your lazy back side and go redeem your winnings.

Still another choice is known as a "stray and play" keno slip, which commonly lets you make number choices for 30 keno games or more. Golly, you can take a world tour and not have to worry about getting back in time to redeem your winnings. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!
